Villa Bella Bakery
About This Spot
Villa Bella Bakery invites you into a warm, unhurried world where the scent of freshly baked pastries wraps around the room like a familiar embrace. Nestled in West Babylon, this neighborhood gem feels like stepping into a cherished family kitchen, where time slows and simple pleasures take center stage. The pace here lingers just right—the kind of spot where the hum of conversation blends with the gentle clink of espresso cups, and the display cases beckon with their artful variety.
As you settle in, the day’s selection reveals itself not just as treats but as stories—each baked good carrying whispers of tradition and careful craft. Flaky croissants unfold layers of buttery warmth, while cannoli, filled with rich yet delicate cream, offer an irresistible balance of texture and sweetness. Bright, seasonal touches like ripe strawberries nestled in French cream or the comforting spice of almond cookies reflect a thoughtful attention to detail that feels both familiar and a little special.
There’s a certain timelessness here, a sense that these recipes have quietly traveled through generations, brought to life beneath the watchful eye of nods to old-world authenticity. The rhythm of the bakery mingles with the happy chatter of locals and the knowing smiles exchanged over a perfectly brewed espresso. Children’s bright eyes meet the sweet treats, and a friendly greeting in soft Italian punctuates the air—small human moments that make Villa Bella Bakery feel less like a stop and more like a return.
Whether you’re drawn by a craving for traditional Italian pastries or simply seeking a gentle pause in your day, this bakery offers a subtle celebration of craft and community. It’s a place where every crumb feels intentional, and every visit invites you to slow down, savor the moment, and perhaps uncover a new favorite among the timeless flavors.

Came in for zeppole pastries to celebrate San Giuseppe. They had plenty ready to go, cannoli and custard. Delicious, fresh and great service. Thanks!

The Villabella Bakery is now my go to bakery any time I go back to visit family on Long Island. Their baked goods taste just as appetizing as they look! Their cannoli cream is absolutely amazing. I'm already craving more.

Tips: If you’re used to a classic rainbow cookie do not get it here, you will be let down Pros: variety of Italian pastries, coffee drinks, and gelato, quick service, seating area and atmosphere Cons: the jelly/jam used in the rainbow cookie is not what I am used to When you walk in you are taken back by the variety of baked goods they have available. I purchased an assorted variety just by how tasty they appeared. The only treat whose name I know was the rainbow cookie. They were all super tasty except the rainbow cookie. The rainbow cookie had an apricot like jelly filling, which is not what I’m used to. I would definitely go back for more pastries but skip out on the rainbow cookies.

Absolutely loved Villa Bella Bakery. The cannoli were perfectly creamy, the croissant was buttery and flaky, and the mini pastries and almond cookies were delicious and not overly sweet. This is exactly the kind of neighborhood bakery you hope to find. Highest recommendations!

For locals I'm sure they already know how great this place is and have been talking about it for generations. But if you're not from the area, this place is 100% worth going out of your way to. Bakeries like this on LI are getting harder and harder to find. Old school vibe, a sweet nona working at the counter speaking Italian, came with my kid and she greeted her it brought me back to being a little kid on LI going to Italian bakeries. But main point is this place is Sicilian, and does Cassata and Cannoli insanely well. First off, no one is making Cassata anymore on LI. It's a labor of love dessert and is difficult to make. But they have big Cassata like a cake, and then mini Cassata di Saint Agatha which is even more rare. They do it old school perfect way. Yea you see them at Uncle Gusepies now they are great but this is like being transported back to Sicily. Their Cannoli is unreal, so damn good. They got baba, sfogliatella, and old school marzipan fruit, really good rainbow cookies. This place and the staff are treasures and I'm so happy I finally went.

I ordered a red velvet cake for my mom's birthday and it was absolutely delicious !!! Probably the best I have ever had. I was able to order and pay over the phone and was in and out when I went to pick it up. They have so many pastries and gelato and espresso. Can't wait to go back and try more stuff.
